• Thank you, food drive supporters

To all letter carriers who collected food and other items for the food pantries, we extend a big thank you.

Also to the people who were so kind as to donate food and other items for distribution to area food pantries, we are very thankful. All donations are given to the less fortunate families in our area. Thanks again to all who gave to this great project.

  • Poppies honor fallen veterans

“And now the Torch and Poppy Red, we wear in honor of our dead. Fear not that ye have died for naught; We’ll teach the lesson that ye wrought in Flanders Fields.”

From Moina Michael’s poem “We Shall Keep the Faith”

The red poppy is the American Legion official memorial flower. It reminds us of our fallen heroes while supporting our living veterans. Buy a poppy.

  • Mother’s Day run-walk another big success

We want to thank everyone who helped make the Run for Your Mother 5K Fun Run-walk on Mother’s Day such a huge success.

We had 239 people registered – from individuals to entire families, people of all ages were running and walking in honor of their moms. It was a wonderful day!
