LEOPOLD—Perry Central hit 59.1 percent from the field, including 67.6 percent from two-point range, to clobber Southridge 62-35 in boys basketball Friday.
“We shot about as well as we could (23 of 34) from two-point range,” said Perry Central Coach Matt Carter.
One reason for that was 17 of those baskets were layups.
Some of them came in the Commodores’ half-court offense, as they worked the ball well and cut crisply into the lane without the ball.
