• PCMH hires marketing director; department head retires

    TELL CITY – Laura Schilling has officially been announced the director of marketing and customer relations for Perry County Memorial Hospital.

    She earned her bachelor’s degree in health administration from the University of Southern Indiana in May 2013. Schilling has worked in various departments at Deaconess Health Systems,  and Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.

    In her latest role, Schilling will market PCMH services to the community and physicians, as well as further implement the hospital’s customer relations program.

  • Chamber of commerce breakfast set for March 16

    TELL CITY – Perry County Chamber of Commerce’s quarterly breakfast will be Wednesday, March 16, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Perry County Memorial Hospital, located at 8885 Indiana 237 in Tell City.

  • IPTAC workshop March 23

    TELL CITY – Indiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center will hold a government contract and marketing workshop Wednesday, March 23 at 5 p.m. at Tell City Depot, located at 333 7th St. in Tell City.

    Early registration is required; the deadline to register is March 18 at 4 p.m.

    The free informational workshop will introduce participants to Indiana PTAC and the resources available to help companies succeed in local, state and federal contracting.

    TELL CITY – The Perry County Chamber of Commerce will conduct a ribbon-cutting at 5:30 p.m. March 15 in celebration of the new location of United Way of Perry County, located at Schergens Center, 1140 31st St. in Tell City.

    Power Plant productions does all kinds of audio/video work from commercials to producing original music. The company wasn’t always so versatile, and it used to be in a very different place, both geographically and in its range of services.

  • United Way of Perry County welcomes new board members

    The United Way of Perry County has welcomed six new members of its board of trustees. New members joining the United Way team are Erin Emerson, Brian Fletcher, Jeff Hilgenhold, Kassandra Zellers Risse, Nicole Rogier and Karen Snyder.

    Each year, the United Way invites individuals to serve on the Board of Trustees who represent the diversity of Perry County.  These dedicated volunteers govern the work of the United Way of Perry County.
