St. Isidore parishioners to celebrate golden milestone

A local congregation will mark its 50th anniversary this weekend with a Mass celebrated by the archbishop of Indianapolis. The roots of St. Isidore Church, however, reach far deeper than half a century.

Archbishop Charles Thompson will preside at the 9:30 a.m. liturgy, as will Pastor Luke Waugh OSB and Saint Meinrad Archabbot Kurt Stasiak OSB. Monks from the archabbey have served as pastors for long stretches of the parish’s history.
