  • Anderson–Brumfield

    Jamie Janise Anderson and Jeffrey Wayne Brumfield were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony on April 20, 2019, at 4:20 p.m. in Derby. Jeff and Jamie wrote and spoke their vows. The bride was given away by her father, Greg Anderson. Ruben Vincent officiated. A reception followed at the Twin Lake Cedar Cabins in Derby.

  • Thomas–Wheatley

    Kaitlyn Thomas of Tell City and Steven Wheatley of Twentynine Palms, Calif., were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony on Jan. 12, 2019, at 3 p.m. at First Christian Church in Troy. The bride was given away by her father. Officiating was Jack Masterson, great uncle of the bride. A reception followed at the American Legion in Tell City.

    The bride is the daughter of Amy Batie and Jason and Jenny Thomas.

    The groom is the son of Chad and Tammy Wheatley of Tell City. He is a lance corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps.

  • Dauby-Palmer

    Myra Michelle Dauby and Christian Charles Wyatt Palmer were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony on Sept. 22, 2018, at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, Calif.

    The bride is the daughter of Mike and Cindy Dauby of Tell City. Mr. Palmer is the son of Bill and Susan Palmer of Stevenson Ranch, Calif.

    The ceremony was officiated by Jenny Richter of Tell City, aunt of the bride.

  • Cross-Belcher

    Justin Cross and Kaitlyn Belcher were united in marriage July 22, 2018, in a 6 p.m. in a ceremony at the Pipers at the Marott in Indianapolis. The bride’s uncle, Patrick Owen, officiated. A reception followed in the same location.

    Following the wedding, the couple traveled to Playa Mujeres, Mexico, for their honeymoon. They currently reside in Indianapolis.

    The bride is the daughter of Jerry Belcher and Rebecca Owen of Tell City. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana State University and currently works at Indiana Connections Academy.

  • Karen and Jonathan Dickson

    Jonathan and Karen Dickson are happy to announce their recent marriage on July 28, 2018.

    Mrs. Dickson, formerly Karen (Meredith) Sturgeon, of Tell City is the daughter of David Meredith from Newtonville, currently residing in Boonville, and the late Donna Meredith of Cannelton.

    Mr. Dickson, of New Haven, Ky., is the son of Sharon Roy from Nashville, Tenn., currently residing in Harned, Ky., and the late Harold Dickson of McMinnville, Tenn.

  • Ippolito – Hall

    Alyssa Faith Ippolito and Taylor “T.J.” Hall were united in marriage Nov. 11, 2017, in a 3:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Evansville. The wedding was officiated by Fr. Dennis Latta.

    The bride is the daughter of Alan and Lisa Ippolito of St. John. She was given in marriage by her father.

    The groom is the son of Kevin and Gwen Hall of Derby.

  • Damin-Simpson

    Karen Damin and Jeff Simpson were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church.

    The bride is the daughter of Tom and Janet Damin of Tell City. Mr. Simpson is the son of Bill and Connie Simpson, also of Tell City.

    The Rev. Thomas Richstatter OFM presided at the ceremony, in which the bride was given in marriage by her father.

  • LeClere – Portelos

    In a 5:30 p.m. evening ceremony in Bloomington on Oct. 28, 2017, Kristen Elizabeth LeClere and Evan John Portelos, both of Fairfax, Va., were joined in marriage. The Rev. Lee Brown officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of Dr. Joe and Leanne LeClere of Tell City. Mr. Portelos is the son of Steve and Cindy Portelos of Norfolk, Va.

    The bride was given in marriage by her father. Lauren Knight, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.

  • Wilson-Reed

    Erica Wilson and Austin Reed were wed in an Oct. 14, 2017, at Blue Heron Winery. The 2 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Joel Grigsby.

    The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Jim and Lisa Wilson.

    Austin is the son of Ray and Amy Reed.

  • Gowan-Hakes

    Tosha Gowan and Matthew Hakes were married at 3 p.m. Sept. 16, 2017,  in a double-ring ceremony at Old Vanderburgh Courthouse in downtown Evansville. The ceremony was officiated by Larry Peter and the couple wrote and exchanged their own vows.

    A reception followed at the Old Vanderburgh County Courthouse.

    The bride is the daughter of Kent and Rhonda Backus of Salem. The groom is the son of David and Julie Hakes of Tell City.

    The bride was given in marriage by her father.
