Methodist chili supper Dec. 12


CANNELTON – The Cannelton, Rome and Tobinsport Methodist churches will host a free chili supper Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. This supper will be at the Methodist church in Cannelton, 214 S Third St. The public is welcome.


Bristow Pentecostal candy orders by Dec. 15


BRISTOW – The United Pentecostal Church in Bristow is now taking candy orders for Christmas.

Orders must be submitted by Saturday, Dec. 15, and delivery will be on Monday, Dec. 17. Candy includes: plain fudge, fudge with walnuts, peanut butter fudge, peanut brittle and peanut butter balls (BonBons). You can also order a mixed package of fudge. The cost is $8 per pound or $4 per half pound. Peanut brittle is sold for $3 per patty. Call (812) 843-4747 to place an order.


St. Paul Mission Possible Feb. 9

TELL CITY – The St. Paul’s scrapbooking group to sponsor the annual Mission Possible crafting crop. The event will be located at St. Paul’s Church Parish Hall in Tell City on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost will be $25 per person. Registration is limited to the first 50 people. Registration should be sent by Jan. 15 to Mission Possible Crop, Tracey Coyle, 5208 Starbright Road, Cannelton, IN 47520. Make checks payable to St. Paul’s Youth Mission. All proceeds will go to support the St. Paul’s 2019 Youth Mission trip.



Baptist Advent worships set

TELL CITY – Hawesville Baptist Church of Hawesville, Ky., and Crossroads Baptist Church of Tell City will have an upcoming advent season activities.

Hawesville church will host Shepherds and Songs Concert on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 6 p.m. On Sunday, Dec. 23, Hawesville church will also have children singing during morning worship.

Crossroads church will host Christmas Eve candlelight on Monday, Dec. 24, at 9 p.m.
