PERRY COUNTY – Trick-or-treat hours for this year have changed in some local communities due to forecasts for inclement weather.

Trick-or-treaters can make their rounds from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in Tell City.

Cannelton officials will decide in the morning if a change is needed and make announcements through the city’s schools.

Hours remain 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday for Troy.

Tell City's First United Methodist Church has changed its annual Trunks of Treats to 5 to 8 p.m. Friday to coincide with the city's hours. Children can collect goodies in the parking lot behind the church at 10th and Mozart streets. Free hotdogs and drinks will be available to everyone.

The church extends an invitation to the community to take their children for this evening of fun and fellowship.
