Throwers, hurdlers lead Perry Central to second

HUNTINGBURG—Jordan Sprinkle and Amber Lindauer each won one event to lead Perry Central to second place in Southridge’s eight-team girls track invitational Thursday.
Southridge won with 151 points. Perry Central scored 118.
Sprinkle won the discus with a 101-foot-3 throw and teammate Brynnan Underhill was second at 95-5 as the Commodores scored the maximum 18 points in that event.
They also scored 18 in the 300-meter low hurdles. Lindauer won that race in 50.1 seconds and Hannah Harpenau was second in 51.21, a personal record.
