Sports EDITOR Emeritus
TELL CITY – Hancock County was overmatched and Tell City played probably its best all-around game boys basketball game of the season Friday. The result was an 86-24 romp for the Marksmen.
The Marksmen jumped to leads of 10-0, 20-2 and 28-4 in the first 12 minutes and led 41-6 at halftime.
They expanded their lead to 63-16 by the end of the third quarter. And they increased their lead in the fourth quarter even though none of their top six players played in that period.
