Tell City High School celebrates homecoming tonight

TELL CITY – The Tell City Jr-Sr High School student council is excited to host this year’s homecoming ceremony between the varsity and JV basketball games on Thursday, Feb. 7, at approximately 6:30 p.m. This year’s crown carriers are Janie Anderson, daughter of Lew and Gina Anderson, and Weston Foster, son of Adriane and Dustyn Foster. The freshmen class representatives are Lainey Peter and Keaton Lloyd. Lainey is the daughter of Karmen Stallings and Thomas Peter. Keaton is the son of Danny and Jamie Lloyd. The sophomore class has selected Sydney Fortwendel, daughter of Hanna and Phil Fortwendel and Shane Braunecker, son of Rick and Kara Braunecker. Violet Moskos and Coby Whitham will represent the junior class. Violet is the daughter of Rob and Luz Moskos, and Coby is the son of Ryan and Tabitha McCallister.


Senior Queen Candidates are:

Jenna Harris, daughter of Doug and Trisha Harris. She has participated in marching band for four years, serving as section leader for two years. She’s also been a member of the Fine Arts Academic Bowl team, serving as captain for one year. Jenna plans to major in social work but is undecided on a college.


Grace Kreilein is the daughter of Bob and Stacy Kreilein. She has participated in basketball, volleyball, student council, Spanish Club, and Pep Club, each for four years. She’s also been class president for three years, a member of the Science Academic Bowl team for three years, and a member of National Honor Society for two years. She plans to attend Indiana University and major in biology.


Samantha Stephens, daughter of Lance and Ginger Stephens, has participated in Spanish Club; Key Club, currently the president; Pep Club; Advocates Club; HOSA, currently the vice-president; and National Honor Society. Samantha plans to major in nursing at Ball State University.


Caitlin Teague is the daughter of Kevin and Elaine Teague. She has participated in Spanish Club, Pep Club, volleyball, and tennis each for four years. She’s also been a member of Advocates Club, Key Club, and National Honor Society. After graduating, Caitlin plans to attend I.U.P.U.I. to major in law and public policy.


Senior King Candidates:

Nate Kasier, son of Marty and Tricia Kaiser. For four years, he’s participated in cross country, track, student council, Spanish Club, Pep Club, and FCA. Nate plans to major in personal finance and run at I.S.U., I.U.P.U.I., or Purdue.


Treyton Mucker is the son of April Noland and Eric Mucker . He has earned varsity letters in  wrestling for four years, football for three years, and track for two years. He’s also participated in Spanish and Pep Clubs. Upon graduation, Treyton plans to attend college to major in pre-nursing and wrestle.


Ty Smith is the son of Terry and Kelly Ingle and Naomi Smith . He has participated in basketball for four years, JAG for three years, and football and peer tutoring each for two years.  His future plans are undecided.


Marcus Stout is the son of Allen and Jennifer Stout. Marcus plans to enlist in the United States Marine Corps after graduation.
