Tell City halts CC win streak

-A A +A

MARENGO—Kammie Jo Hayes made 18 kills, 22 digs and three blocks and served four aces as Tell City defeated Crawford County 25-20, 25-23, 25-13 in volleyball Wednesday.

Crawford County had won 12 matches in a row after beating Paoli Tuesday.

But the Wolfpack could not match Tell City’s hitting, as no one made more than seven kills for the Wolfpack.

No one served more than one ace for the Wolfpack either, as Tell City’s back-row defense did a good job digging and receiving serves.
