Tell City girls sweep Patriots

LINCOLN CITY—Tell City won all 12 events to trounce Heritage Hills 131-54 in girls swimming Thursday.
Erika Hauenstein, Chelsea Malone and Amanda Wagner each won two individual events.
Hauenstein won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:29.76 and the 500 freestyle in 5:47.86.
Malone won the 50 free in 26.33 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:06.44.
Wagner took the 100 free in 57.49 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.57.
Hana Reed beat the defending sectional champion, Morgan Schum, by 9.60 points to win the diving with 189.30 points.
C.J. Fentress won the 200 free in 2:09.83 and Bailey Malone won the 100 butterfly in 1:09.92, their season-best times.
The Marksmen also won all three relays.
Chelsea Malone, Bailey Malone, Erika Hauenstein and Charissa Lahee took the 200 medley relay in 2:04.53.
Wagner, Chelsea Malone, Fentress and Hauenstein won the 200 free relay in 1:47.98.
Fentress, Bailey Malone, Lahee and Jessica Ballman were first in the 400 free relay in 4:14.15.
The Marksmen swept the top three places in three individual events.
