Tell City archers earn awards

TELL CITY—Tell City will host its second National Archery in Schools Program tourney of the season this weekend.
More than 30 schools have entered with a total of 672 shooters registered, making this Tell City’s biggest tourney ever.
It will start at 6 p.m. Friday in Tell City Junior-Senior High’s auxiliary gymnasium and continue Saturday at 8 a.m. until at least 6 p.m.
Tell City has done well so far this season, as its high school and junior high teams have qualified for the NASP state tourney to be held at Indiana State Fairgrounds March 22.
