Perry Central to crown homecoming court Friday

LEOPOLD – The 2018 Perry Central Football Homecoming Ceremony will be held at halftime during the varsity football game against Crawford County on Friday evening, Aug. 31. Game time is 6:30 p.m.

Their fellow senior classmates selected the queen and king candidates. The entire high school student body will choose the queen and king.

The queen candidates are as follows:

• Adelynn Kay Davis of rural Tell City is the daughter of Zach Davis and Ginger Davis. Throughout her high school career, Addie has been involved in volleyball and basketball. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends. Addie’s future plans after graduation from high school are undecided at this time.

• Macey Emmons is the daughter of Jason and Cindy Emmons of Branchville. During high school, Macey was active in cross-country, basketball, track, Future Farmers of America, Key Club, student council, Spanish Club, Students Taking Action Not Drugs, National Honor Society, and Business Professionals of America. Her hobbies include playing basketball and spending time with friends and family. Macey’s future plans are to attend Indiana University and study pre-physical therapy.

• Skyler Jones is the daughter of Verna Jones of Tell City. While in high school, Skyler has participated in cheerleading and was also a member of 4-H. During her spare time, she enjoys hanging with friends and family. Skyler plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana after graduation from high school.

• Elisha Schwartz of near St. Croix is the daughter of Henry Schwartz and Tammy Schwartz. During high school, Elisha has been active in volleyball, NHS, student council, STAND and Spanish Club. She enjoys playing guitar and hanging with friends during her spare time. After graduation, Elisha plans to attend Purdue University to study civil engineering.

The king candidates are as follows:

• Andrew Graves is the son of Charlie and Marcia Graves of Bristow. Throughout his high school career, Andy has participated in basketball. During his spare time, Andy enjoys basketball, writing, and being with friends. Andy’s future plans after graduation from high school are to attend the University of Southern Indiana.

• Cain Hohne of rural Bristow is the son of Chad Hohne and Jennifer Hohne. During his high school career, Cain has participated in basketball and track. In his spare time, Cain enjoys basketball and fishing. Cain’s future plans after graduation from high school are undecided at this time.

• Levi Hubert is the son of Scott and Deana Hubert of Bandon. In high school, Levi has been active in STAND, Spanish club, basketball and baseball. During his spare time, Levi enjoys hunting, fishing, and enjoying life. Levi plans to enlist in the United States Navy after graduation from high school.

• Ryan Hubert is the son of Chris and Lora Hubert of rural Tell City. During high school, Ryan has participated in basketball, student council, STAND, Spanish club and BPA. Ryan’s hobbies include golfing and basketball. After graduation from high school, Ryan plans to major in marketing at the University of Southern Indiana.
