OAKLAND CITY—Michael Ernst won two individual races and a relay to lead Perry Central to victory in a boys triangular track meet Thursday.

The Commodores scored 80 points, Heritage Hills 70, and Wood Memorial 6.

Ernst, normally an 800-meter runner, did run that distance as he anchored the Commodores’ winning 3200 relay team.

He teamed with Reuben Schwartz, Noah Gatwood and D.J. Newton to run it in 8:36.5.

Ernst also won two shorter sprints, taking the 400 in 52.57 seconds and the 200 in 23.63.
