Voters will decide if further work is to be done at high school

By Kevin Koelling, Managing Editor

TELL CITY - Voters in Troy Township, except those in the Cannelton school district, may vote in a Nov. 3 referendum on further construction work at Tell City High School.

Schools Superintendent Ron Etienne said at a regular school-board meeting Tuesday he may be able to get interest-free stimulus funding for $2 million worth of the $10 million in further work, for which a 1028 hearing will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the high-school auditorium.

"Anyone who has an opinion about the continuation of this project should attend the 1028 hearing," he said.
