Board OKs more laptops

LEOPOLD – As one school year nears its end, members of the Perry Central Community School Corp. Board hired several new teachers last week for the 2014-15 school year and beyond.

Several veteran educators will step down next month after announcing their retirements in recent months. Those departures, along with other staff vacancies, created the need to hire several classroom teachers.

Elementary school teachers hired were Laci Slaughterback, Bridget Bruggeman, Maria Sweat, Lindsay Andry, Brett Roesner and Jennifer Bryant.
