New Albany pins Tell City

-A A +A

NEW ALBANY—New Albany won 9 of 14 matches to beat Tell City 48-28 in wrestling Tuesday.
“The score doesn’t show the progress we have made though,” said Tell City Coach Neal Stahly. “David Teague wrestled really well and was able to do some things that typical freshmen don’t at this point in the season.
“Aubrey Craig has wrestled strong in both of his matches, recording two pins. Mason Waninger looked good against a tough opponent. He gutted out a major decision against his first actual opponent (last week he won by forfeit).
