Marksmen girls sixth in Rangers’ invitational

BRETZVILLE—No Tell City runners placed in the top 15 as the Marksmen finished sixth in Forest Park’s six-team girls cross country invitational Thursday.
Evansville Memorial won with 25 points. Tell City scored 165.
Marian Blake led Tell City, finishing 19th in 24:57.
Freshman Hailey Carman was the Marksmen’s second finisher, taking 31st in 25:55. “She ran great,” said Tell City Coach Katie Chinn.
Addie Terry was 33rd in 26:09, Audrie Terry 38th in 27:14, and Kari Hawkins 44th in 29:06 to complete the Marksmen’s scoring.
