EVANSVILLE - Perry Central senior Nick Huber won both hurdles races to lead Perry Central to a tie for eighth place in the IHSAA boys track regional Wednesday.

He is Perry Central's first boys regional champion in any event and only the second Perry County athlete - boy or girl - to win more than one event in a regional. Tell City's Steve Smith won both hurdles events and the pole vault in the 1975 Columbus regional.

Huber won the 110-meter high hurdles in 14.80 seconds and the 300 intermediate hurdles in 39.46.
