-A A +A

TELL CITY – The Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual holiday bazaar from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 7. There will also be a silent auction.

Several items up for bid include a West Baden package for two, two one-day passes to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, a C & S gas card, a Christmas wreath, a certificate for one dessert each month for one year beginning in January, a handmade necklace, a musical and animated snow globe, a gift certificate to Eagle’s Wings Zip-Line, two tickets plus a parking pass for an Indiana University basketball game and a ceramic centerpiece from Kris’s Ceramic Shoppe.

There will be a minimum bid posted and a bid sheet placed with each item. The bazaar will include many other handcrafted items and baked goods for sale. The gift shop will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and display many new items, including Christmas wreaths, candles, ornaments, scarves, Cottage Garden music boxes, jewelry, watches and decorations. A holiday luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the cafeteria located in the hospital’s basement. Cost for the meal will be $8. Tickets for the meal can be purchased from President Mickey Fischer by calling 547-5691, from the PCMH gift shop or from any auxiliary member. A limited number of tickets will be sold, so organizers urge to get tickets early and make sure you buy them by Nov. 4.  This helps the dietary crew to know how many to prepare for.

Members are asked to have their homemade goodies at the hospital by 6:30 a.m. the day of the bazaar. If you cannot take baked goods the day of the bazaar someone will be at the hospital to receive them at 3 p.m. Nov. 6 or you can put them in the gift shop.

The craft committee asks that craft items be taken to the hospital between 3 and 5 p.m. Nov. 6 with all items priced.
