Grand opening offers free mini-golf, music

CANNELTON – A grand opening of the Putt-Nutt Golf course in Cannelton is scheduled for 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and will feature free mini-golf and entertainment by the band Fat Willy and the Damn Ray Boys and a DJ.

The miniature-golf course at 111 Washington St., operator Dave Beertzer said, provides family-oriented fun.

“Bring a chair if you want to sit and listen” to the music, Beertzer urged. He also said Mayor Mary Snyder plans to attend.

The business is open 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 4 until midnight Friday and Saturday.
