Franchville named district deputy for Knights of Columbus

TELL CITY – Knights of Columbus state deputy Lawrence Fluhr has appointed and approval has been received from the supreme knight Carl Anderson, naming Clarence V. Franchville district deputy for district 36.

Franchville will direct and report to the state council all activities of the councils in his district, Tell City Council 1172, Newburgh Council 8746, Boonville Council 10257 and Evansville Council 14192.
He is responsible for the direct link between those councils to the state and supreme council.
He has been very active in Local Council 1172 serving in various offices, including treasurer, recorder, club president and fourth degree assembly member and chairing many charitable projects. He was past grand knight for three years.
