Adult-ed classes begin Wednesday at Ivy Tech
TELL CITY – Thinking about your future? What about getting that GED or heading to college or a new job?
Adult education classes begin today Ivy Tech Community College in Tell City and will run until Dec. 15.
Classes will improve students’ math and English skills, add a GED to students’ resumes, help them prepare for post-secondary training and increase their wage-earning potential.
Classes are free and will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Tell City academic kick off set for Thursday morning
TELL CITY – Tell City Junior-Senior High School Renaissance will present Willy Wonka and the Academic Factory, the school’s academic kickoff, at 8 a.m. Thursday in the school’s auditorium.
The Renaissance Leadership class hosts an academic kickoff every year in October to recognize students for academics, achievements, co-curricular and community involvement.
The kickoff consists of lots of laughs, T-shirts and plenty of awards.
Renaissance members invite the public to attend. Those joining the kickoff can sign in in the office and seats will be available in the auditorium balcony.
