PERRY COUNTY – Local authorities are in search of a man who barricaded himself inside of a Troy home Sunday. Perry County Dispatch Center received a call at 9:10 a.m. concerning a possible domestic-violence situation between Vincent D. Reilly and his wife. Reilly had allegedly brandished a firearm.

Before county sheriff’s deputies arrived, he fled the scene with two handguns, and is possibly suicidal.

Attempts by police to contact the suspect by phone were unsuccessful and he has not been apprehended.

Reilly is believed to be driving a white 1997 Chevy Monte Carlo with Indiana license plate No. 356LJP.

Anyone with information on Reilly’s whereabouts is encouraged to call Perry County Central Dispatch at 547-7068.

Editor's note: We erroneously said in our initial report the suspect took a child when he fled.

UPDATE: Reilly was located by authorities late Sunday night in Virginia. He was not arrested and no warrants for arrest have been issued.
