Commodores fall to Heritage Hills

LEOPOLD—Heritage Hills enjoyed a fast start and cruised to a 25-16, 25-8, 25-14 win over Perry Central in volleyball Thursday.

The win was the Patriots’ third in their last four matches.

Lilly Vance made seven kills for Heritage Hills. Rebekah Gordon and Wes Cochren each added six. Shelby Skelton and Madison Hagedorn each had three aces.

For Perry Central, Addy Davis had six kills and Morgan Judy added four. Judy also had six assists to lead the Commodores and Davis had five.

Elisha Schwartz served the only ace for Perry Central and also led the team in digs with 10. Maddie Labhart contributed seven digs.

Bree Noland made three blocks and Maria Hubert added two.

Heritage Hills improved to 8-15 while Perry Central fell to 4-17.

Heritage Hills won the JV match 25-12, 25-19.

Emma Hubert made five kills for Perry Central and Alyssa Hill and Makenzy Roark each added three.

Roark had seven assists and Alexa Hedinger added six.

Elly Wallace made 11 digs and Justice Cash added 10. Cash served two aces.

Perry Central will visit Mit-chell Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
