Holy Cross to host annual flea market Sunday
ST. CROIX – The Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Croix will host its annual huge flea market from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17.
The market will include antiques, collectibles, books, clothing, household items, baby furniture, crafts and more.
Produce, baked goods and homemade jellies will also be sold and the annual huge raffle will be held.

Song fest in Tobinsport set for Sunday
TOBINSPORT – Clayton Harris Memorial United Methodist Church in Tobinsport will host a song fest Sunday.
Activities will kick off at 5 p.m. with an old fashion hymn sing. A carry in meal will start at 6 p.m. The church will provide meat, drinks and table service. Those attending are asked to take a dish to share. All are invited to attend.

One-man Chesterton show Sept. 26
ST. MEINRAD – The Institute for Priests and Presbyterates of Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, St. Meinrad will present “An Evening with G.K. Chesterton” Sept. 26.
John “Chuck” Chalberg will present his historical impersonation of English writer G.K. Chesterton, the author of numerous novels, short stories and poems. The presentation begins at 7 p.m. CDT in the Gallery on the Saint Meinrad campus.
In the portrayal, Chesterton journeys from England to offer his views on everything from the virtues of things small, whether they be families or pubs, to the evils of things large, whether they be imperialist schemes or socialist states.
There is no cost for the lecture.
