Carl Greulich, 85

TELL CITY – Carl Greulich, 85, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Deaconess Hospice Center in Evansville.

He was born in Fulda, Jan. 13, 1926, to the late Tony and Anna (Brendle) Greulich.
Carl had worked at General Electric and later owned and operated Tell Street Glass for 20 years, retiring in 1998. He had served as City Judge in Tell City for several terms.
He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and its 4th Degree, where he was district deputy and served as past grand knight. He enjoyed gardening and baking cookies.
Surviving are his daughters, Diana (Rich) Brown of Redding, Calif., Patricia (Roger) Luekens of Valparaiso and Sandra (Cosimo) Faella of Hockessin, Del.; his grandchildren, Laura Hoppe and Cosimo Faella and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Lorine Pfeiffer Greulich; his parents and his brothers, Albert, Robert and Benedict Greulich.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28 (today) at St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Duvielus will officiate.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. today at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
