Cannelton falls twice on road

SHOALS—Turnovers and cold three-point and free-throw shooting hurt Cannelton in boys basketball road losses Saturday and Tuesday.
The Bulldogs hit 20 of 41 from two-point range in a 62-58 loss to Shoals Saturday. But they hit only 1 of 12 three-point shots and 15 of 28 free throws. They also committed 20 turnovers.
Still the game was close all the way.
Nick Divine banked in a three-pointer with two minutes left to put Shoals up by five points.
The Jug Rox led by at least three the rest of the way.
