Bishop – Simpson

Alyssa Rene Bishop and Zachary Alan Simpson were united in marriage during an afternoon ceremony Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Glasgow, Ky.

The bride is the daughter of Tony and Anice Bishop of Glasgow. Mr. Simpson is the son of Greg and Roxanne Simpson of Tell City.
Serving as pastor of the ceremony was Brother Brandon Porter of Glasgow.
Kacie Reeves, sister of the bride, was chosen was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Meek of Glasgow, Brittany Billings-ley of Richmond, Ky., Brianna Simpson of Tell City, sister of the groom, Elizabeth Henry of Clarksville, Tenn., Johanna Higdon of Louis-ville, Ky., and Sydney Beth Rich of Glasgow, cousin of the bride.
Wesley Jones of Bowling Green, Ky., served as best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Taylor of Evansville, brother of the groom, Tommy Wood and Gabe Conway, both of Bowling Green, Robie Malcomson of Auburn, Ky., Ben Malcomson of Boonville and Adam York of Tennessee.
Serving as ring bearer was Landon Mayfield of Ev-ansville, nephew of the groom. Flower girls were Natalie and Abigail Reeves of Glasgow, nieces of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Rylyn Taylor of Evansville, niece of the groom, and Lauren Reeves of Glasgow, niece of the bride.
Ushers were Josh Reeves of Glasgow, brother-in-law of the bride, and Luke and Mark Piper of Glasgow, cousins of the bride. Serving as pianist was Sam Bodine of Glasgow.
A reception was held immediately following at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Simpson honeymooned in Half Moon Bay, Calif., and currently reside in Russell-ville, Ky.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Barren County High School and a 2011 graduate of Western Kentucky University. She is a registered dental hygienist at Briarwood Dental in Bowling Green.
Mr. Simpson is a 2003 graduate of Cannelton High School and a 2008 graduate of Western Kentucky University. He is a fifth-grade teacher at Chandlers Elementary School in Russell-ville, as well as a girls basketball coach at Logan County High School in Russellville.
