EVANSVILLE—Ian Bashor and Eric Scheiber each placed fourth in one event to lead Perry Central to 10th place in the IHSAA boys track regional Thursday.

Tell City, led by Tyler Dauby’s sixth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles, tied for 25th among 33 teams that scored.

Cannelton finished 31st as T.J. James scored two points. He is the first Cannelton athlete to score in the regional in 22 years.

The top eight finishers in each event scored but only the top three qualified for the state meet, so no Perry County boy will advance to state.
