TELL CITY—Perry Central’s defensive pressure gradually wore Tell City down as the Commodores won 67-55 in boys basketball Tuesday.
Tell City committed only two turnovers in the first quarter and hit 8 of 14 from the field to build a 20-12 lead at the end of that period.
But the Marksmen committed 16 turnovers and hit only 11 of 30 from the field in the last three quarters.
“To be honest with you, they wore us down and we made tired turnovers,” said Tell City Coach Brent Owen.
