LYNNVILLE—Creek Wright ran for 225 yards and Perry Central played its best defensive game to beat Tecumseh 28-7 in football Friday.
Ian Seim scored Tecum-seh’s only touchdown on a 36-yard run on a counter play with 7:57 left in the second quarter.
The Braves gained only 90 total yards on their other 29 rushing plays, though. And they completed only 9 of 23 passes for 88 yards, with most of the completions being short screen plays.
