Commodores beat Tell City

LEOPOLD—Perry Central’s more experienced line and superior passing game made the difference as the Commodores beat Tell City 36-19 in Friday’s football season opener.

Both teams were sloppy at times, with each committing six fumbles and losing two.

Perry Central also racked up seven penalties for a total of 70 yards.

Perry Central had a 243 to 127 advantage in rushing yards and scored three rushing touchdowns compared with two for the Marksmen.
