LEOPOLD—Michael Schwartz’s hot first-half shooting propelled Perry Central past Lanesville 66-56 in boys basketball Saturday.
Schwartz scored 20 points in the first half on 7 of 10 field-goal shooting, including 4 of 5 from three-point range, and 2 of 3 free throws.
All of those points came in a seven-minute span.
He made a three-pointer and then made a steal and another three-pointer with 0:02 left in the first quarter to put the Commodores up for good 15-14.
