LEOPOLD – Perry Central’s eighth-grade baseball team got the better of their seventh-grade counterparts Monday, sweeping a doubleheader.
Nine different eighth-graders got hits in game one, helping them earn a 10-5 win.
Dakota Brewster drove in two runs while throwing three shutout innings from the mound.
Aaron Lutgring and Kyle Goldman also added RBIs for the eighth grade.
Dylan Seibert had the best showing at the plate for the seventh grade in game one, blasting a two-run double in the fourth inning.
