    Sammie James had four assists to aid the Bulldogs’ spikers.
    Cannelton also did a good job digging up the Lions’ serves and spikes.
    Sara Whitworth and Leah Mascolo each made seven digs and Garrett added six.
    James served five aces for the Bulldogs and Garrett added four.
    Cannelton, 1-7, will host Tell City Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

    CANNELTON—Missed serves hurt Cannelton in a 25-22, 25-18, 27-25 volleyball loss to New Harmony Saturday.


    Allicyn Garrett served six aces and made five kills to lead Cannelton.
    Sarah Powers added four kills and eight digs. Leah Mascolo made six digs and served four aces, and Taylor Lawalin and Sammie James each had five assists.
    New Harmony also won the junior varsity match in straight sets.
    Cannelton, 0-7 in varsity and 0-4 in JV, will host Rock Creek Christian Academy Friday at 5 p.m.
