TELL CITY – During their meeting on the evening of Monday, Sept. 21, the Board of Public Works and Safety proposed a chip-and-seal project for the 1500 block of 14th Street. The work will help to cut down on the consistent maintenance and gravel dust, according to Mayor Barbara Ewing.
The current road surface is upward of 35 years old, and has always been gravel. Works board member Gary Morton expressed his agreement that the road should be improved.
