LANESVILLE—Bad first passes hurt Cannelton in a 25-10, 25-13, 25-15 volleyball loss to Lanesville Thursday.
“We absolutely did not get the ball to the setter,” said Cannelton Coach Ashley Chapman.
But she added that overall “we’re getting better.”
Nicole Harris led Bulldog hitters with three kills. April Terry and Caressa Sloss each added two.
Harris served four points, including one ace, and made one dig. Jordyn Vogt made one block.
Cannelton, 0-2, will visit Springs Valley Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
