Though rain clouds threatened showers Friday, spirits were bright as local educators collected school supplies as part of the United Way’s annual Stuff the Bus drive. Representatives from each of the county’s three school districts were on hand outside of the Tell City Wal-Mart both Friday and Saturday. Last year, efforts netted nearly $4,000 worth of classroom materials and took in nearly another $5,000 in cash donations. Items collected will be distributed to schools in Perry and Spencer counties.
