HUNTINGBURG—Southridge hit 66.7 percent from the field in the second half to beat Tell City 56-44 in PAC boys basketball Friday.
Tell City led 24-19 after Tristan Simmons made a steal and a layup to start the third-quarter scoring.
Southridge committed only four more turnovers, though, and hit 12 of 18 field-goal attempts the rest of the way, including 6 of 8 from three-point range.
That was after hitting just 9 of 28 in the first half, including 1 for 10 from three-point range.
