    PAOLI—Perry Central compiled its third perfect score in four years as it ran away with the PLAC boys cross country meet Thursday.

  • Tell City boys PAC champs; girls second

    HUNTINGBURG—All five Tell City scorers placed in the top 13 as the Marksmen won the PAC boys cross country meet Saturday.

    Brayden Lain Poole
    Julie and Blain Poole of Fishers announce the birth of their son, Brayden Lain Poole, Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Carmel.
    The infant weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 203⁄4 inches long.
    Grandparents are Nan and Mike DuPont and Steve and Mary Poole, all of rural Tell City.
    Great-grandparents are Vivian and Raphael DuPont and Betty Kessens of Tell City and the late Tom and Shirley Rogier and Leo Kessens.

  • Indiana Horse Rescue to host fundraisers

    TELL CITY – Indiana Horse Rescue South will take rescued horses to Orscheln Farm Store from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. This fundraising event will be to help raise funds to feed the horses for the winter.
    The group will hold raffles, games, face painting and other events. Different kinds of foods will be available for purchase and a bake sale will also be set up.
    The event is for all ages. The horses will be present for everyone to see and understand the implications of animal abuse.

  • PCMH to hold annual holiday bazaar raffle

    TELL CITY – The Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual Holiday Bazaar Raffle Nov. 4. A handcrafted solid walnut blanket chest will be raffled off during drawing at the end of the bazaar at the hospital.
