Apples are abundant this fall and there are countless ways to use the fruit. Tasty year-round, nothing else quite says fall the same way as a tasty apple pie or apple strudel topped by ice cream.

Apple Tapioca Cream Pudding
3 apples, pared and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons boiling water
21⁄2 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
