CANNELTON—Whitesville Trinity scored six runs in the top of the eighth inning to beat Cannelton 14-8 in the second game of a baseball doubleheader Friday.
Cannelton tied the game with two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Cody Lawalin singled home the tying run. Coach Mike Garrett sent another runner home on the play to try to win the game, but he was thrown out at the plate.
The Raiders replied with their biggest inning of the game in the top of the eighth.
Three walks and a hit batsman started that rally, and a home run followed.
