CANNELTON—Cannelton could not contain Evansville Day’s quickness and lost to the Eagles 80-58 in boys basketball Saturday.
The Eagles used their quickness advantage to create several fast-break and layup opportunities. They hit 31 two-point field goals for the game, 27 of which came from in the lane.
They hit 61.8 percent from the field for the game.
“I would like to get back to our zone defense, but our offense is stagnant when we play a zone,” said Cannelton Coach Brian Garrett.
