TELL CITY—Tell City played errorless defense and made the most of its three hits to beat Southridge 4-3 in PAC girls softball Tuesday.
The Marksmen scored what proved to be the decisive run in the sixth inning without a hit.
Stori Beard walked, stole second base, went to third on a wild pitch, and scored on Derrian Zabel’s ground out to the second baseman.
That put the Marksmen up 4-1 and enabled them to withstand two Raider runs in the top of the seventh.
