TELL CITY – The Tell City Common Council has approved wages and salaries for city employees, giving a 25 cent-per-hour increase to full-time employees.
The council approved across-the-board increases of 25 cents per hour in September of 2010 but that was the first increase of the year. The city has been careful in giving raises in the past two years because of uncertainties in funding.
For an employee working 40 hours a week, the quarter increase will be worth $520 per year.
