    She was taken to Perry County Detention Center. Bail was set at $3,600.

    • Davida J. Sommer, 28, of 12357 E. State Road 66, Evanston, May 26, on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    She was taken to Perry County Detention Center but was released later the same day after posting $605 bail.

    He was taken to Perry County Detention Center. Bail was set at $600.

    • Stephanie J. Beier, 34, of 508 Taylor St., Cannelton, May 21, on a preliminary charge of driving with a suspended license.

    She was taken to Perry County Detention Center but was released May 22 after posting $605 bail.

    She was taken to Perry County Detention Center. Bail was set at $2,105.

    • Stacy D. Knasel, 39, of 8938 Addison Road, Tell City, May 18, on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

    She was taken to Perry County Detention Center but was released later the same day after posting $205 bail.

    • Robert E. Badger, 47, of 2246 Troy Ridge Road, Tell City, May 14, on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license, and public intoxication.

    He was taken to Perry County Detention Center. Bail was set at $1,405.

    • Mark A. Sanchez, 34, of 901 Traphagen Court, Tell City, May 15, on preliminary charges of domestic battery, criminal confinement, and disorderly conduct.

    He was taken to Perry County Detention Center. Bail was set at $2,405.

    • Joseph H. Gomez, 29, of 731 Washington St., Troy, May 11, on a warrant for neglect of a dependent.

    He was taken to Perry County Detention Center. Bail was set at $4,505.

    • Ashley V. Renfrow, 24, of 731 Washington St., Troy, May 11, on a warrant for neglect of a dependent.

    She was taken to Perry County Detention Center but was released May 12 after posting $4,505 bail.

  • Officers beef up enforcement in April

    TELL CITY – The Tell City Police Department, in conjunction with The Indiana Criminal Justice Institute, conducted seatbelt and dangerous driving patrols during April. Officers working the project were compensated through a grant awarded to the Tell City Police Department by ICJI.

    Officers participating in the project worked a total of 32 hours resulting in five custodial arrests for various traffic offenses , including driving under the influence, habitual traffic violation and driving while suspended.

  • Two charged in motorcycle theft

    FULDA – Two men were arrested Wednesday night after an investigation into the alleged theft and sale of a motorcycle. On Monday, May 4, Trooper Jeremy Galloway began an investigation into the possible theft of a 1998 BMW motorcycle from Rosetta Allbright.

    Allbright asked a friend to retrieve the motorcycle from the home of her ex-boyfriend, David A. Gabberd, 48, of Fulda. Gabberd informed the friend that the motorcycle and title were both gone, but did not know where they had gone.

  • Driver arrested after traffic stop

    CANNELTON – Early in the morning of May 2, Cannelton  Patrolman Ryan Smith conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Fourth and Mason streets for traveling the wrong way on a one way on Dodge Street. Upon checking, the driver of the car, Charles F. Parrott, 39, of Hawesville, Ky., was found to be driving on a suspended license. The license plate on the vehicle also did not belong to that vehicle. Smith obtained permission to search the vehicle from the driver and found a glass device typically used to smoke illegal narcotics.

    • Crystal Huff, 39, of 338 13th St., Tell City, May 4, on two warrants for probation violation.

    She was taken to Perry County Detention Center. Bail was set at $3,005.

    • Lucas R. Whistle, 37, of 1220 John Pate Road, Lewisport, Ky., May 5, on warrants for stalking and invasion of privacy.
