  • Students asked to aim high during College Go! Week

     

    During the week of Sept. 22, schools across Indiana participated in College Go! Week. The goal of this week was to help students and families plan for college. William Tell Elementary and Tell City Junior-Senior High School students participated in various activities promoting the kick-off.

  • TCJSHS plans academic kick-off for Thursday

     

    TELL CITY – The Tell City Junior-Senior High School Renaissance class invites the community to the 2014 academic kick-off beginning at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, (today), in the auditorium.

    Seating will be available in the balcony. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

    Guests should enter through the office doors.

    TELL CITY – TELL CITY – The Tell City Junior-Senior High School Renaissance Class invites the community to the 2014 academic kick-off beginning at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in the auditorium.     Parent-teacher conferences will be held Thursday, Oct. 23 from 4 to 7:45 p.m. School will not be in session Friday, Oct. 24 or Monday, Oct. 27 due to fall break.

  • William Tell Elementary conferences Thursday

     

    TELL CITY – Parent-teacher conferences for students at William Tell Elementary School will take place the afternoon and evening of Thursday, Oct. 23.

    There will be no school Friday, Oct. 24 or Monday, Oct. 27 due to fall break.

    Parents have been notified of their scheduled times. If appointment changes need to be made, contact the child’s teacher at 547-9727. 

  • Cannelton Elementary Fall Festival Thursday

     

    CANNELTON – The Cannelton Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization will sponsor its 69th annual Cannelton Fall Festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in the Cannelton Community Center.

    Queen candidates are Jaci James, Summer DuPont, Brooklyn Hale, Kendall Hale, Kyra Hemmings and Natalee Harris. The candidates will be out in the community collecting money for the PTO. The student who raises the most money will be crowned the 69th Fall Festival queen.

  • TCJSHS honor roll released

    TELL CITY – Tell City Junior Senior High School recently released the honor roll for the third nine weeks of the 2013-14 school year for students in grades seven through twelve.

  • Cannelton schools release honor roll

    CANNELTON – Cannelton schools have released the honor roll for term 2, grading period 1. Students on the high or distinguished honor roll earned all A’s, students on the regular honor roll earned a combination of A’s and B’s and students receiving honorable mention earned A’s, B’s and one C.   • KWC to host science day Saturday

    OWENSBORO, Ky. – Students interested in science, health, engineering and math will be the focus as Kentucky Wesleyan College will host science day Saturday.
    Students can meet with faculty to explore majors and see presentations from current professionals in biology, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy and more.
    Current KWC students will participate in demonstrations and presentations.
