The following students were selected as students of the month for December at Tell City Junior-Senior High School. Sophomore Charissa Lahee, junior Robyn Scarpa, senior Emily James and freshman Cody Osborne received breakfast at Julie’s Tell Street Café, a T-shirt and a gift card from the Renaissance Leadership class at TCJSHS. The students were nominated by teachers and staff members and selected by the Renaissance Staff-Faculty Steering Committee.
 

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Taylor J. Hall of Derby has been named to Western Kentucky University dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester.

He is studying mechanical engineering and earned a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester.
Hall is the son of Kevin and Gwen Hall and the grandson of Darryl and Connie Taylor and the late Roscoe and Peggy Hall. He is a 2010 graduate of Perry Central High School.
 

Students in Kelli Braunecker’s second-grade class at William Tell Elementary release parachutes that they constructed as part of a science investigation about air.

MUNCIE – Katelyn Bryant of Tell City has been named to Ball State University’s dean’s list for the fall semester.

To qualify for the list, undergraduates must earn a 3.5 grade-point average for full time course work during the semester. Bry-ant earned a 4.0 for the semester.
She is a student of the Miller College of Business and is a 2008 graduate of Tell City High School. She is the daughter of Larry and Terri Bryant of Tell City and the granddaughter of Robert and Elva Dickman.
